Steve and Lee transformed 2 old chairs that had seen better days into beautiful pieces that take pride of place in their respective rooms. They were extremely helpful, and generous with their time and expertise when offering advice on fabric selection. Following a family bereavement, I discovered 4 chairs in the house, all broken and three in a very poor condition. The only saving factor was that all the pieces appeared to be there. I took them to Steve Norman and the transformation has been amazing. The three dating to the early 20th century required extensive work to repair and restore the woodwork and then reupholstering. Steve and Lee undertook this work with such great care, bringing them to a condition I thought impossible when I took them to him. We could not be more delighted with all four chairs, now taking pride of place in our home in NE Scotland. The friendliness and the service more than matched the craftsmanship
